so these are the first pair that i'll share with you. i saw Michelle from Glisters&Blisters wore these on her blog post and immediately fell in love. they were miumiu inspired and since i can't afford miumiu ones, so i bought this pair. i didn't buy them directly after i saw Michelle wore them, i was afraid about the height. instead, i bought another shoes from J+J, which is Jeffrey Campbell Lita inspired boots with the same height with these heels because i saw Pink Kitten's blog and decided to buy something like JC Lita. a few weeks after my boots came, J+J threw a sale and these satin heels are one of them! i contacted June and finally have these pair. hehe..

these pair were size 40, which is actually 1 size larger than my size, but i think it's ok because they have straps. they are actually pretty comfortable for 13cm heels. maybe because of the chunky heels and the thick platforms. you can still order these kind of shoe, contact them here. :)

some of my collection

1. Heels or Flats?

- Heels all the way! but there are times that my feet hurts from using heels too much, though..

2. What are your go-to shoes?

- i'm still in uni and i don't like to use heels to campus, so my go-to shoes are flats from pla.

3. What's your favorite shoe trend at-the-moment?

- err.. actually i don't really put attention to shoe trends..

4. What's your least favourite shoe trend?

- hmm, my least fave shoe trend.. i think it's flatforms. you know flatforms? something that looks like these:

they don't elongate your legs. the reason why i like heels more than flats because i need to make my legs longer so they'll look slimmer. flatforms only give more height which i don't need because i think i'm tall enough. so yeah, flatforms are just not for me.

5. What's your most expensive shoe?

- i think it's Niluh Djelantik's.. flat sandals with bronze/gold color.. pictures later, ok? i'm gonna have a blogpost about my shoes, just wait ;)

6. What are your most wanted pair?

- Brian Atwood's Maniac in Nude Patent!!

7. What's your most embarrassing shoe story?

- can't remember any.. sorry

- i planned to do a blogpost on every single shoes that i have (i will put stories there too) so i'm not gonna answer this question right now. :)

9. How many pairs of shoes do you own?

- oh well.. it's kinda hard.. i think it's about 25 pairs..

10. When was the first time you wore heels?

- i can't remember! hahaha. as long as i can remember the first time i wear something high was when i'm at 4th or 5th grade. i wore very tall wedges from a brand called GOSH. the wedges has some polkadots, me and my sister have the same wedges in diffe

rent colours. mine were light blue and white, hers were black and white.

11. How much do you spend on shoes?

- most of my shoes are under IDR300k (its about US$30), but as long as it's under IDR500k i still could buy them if i really want to.

12. Where are your favorite places to buy shoes?

- i don't really have fave shops.. i buy shoes everywhere as long as i like them :p

13. Do you have a pair of shoes you regret purchasing?

- hmm.. i think it's my Niluh Djelantik sandals that i mentioned before. it was impulsive, hahaha. i'm not a sandal girl. so i'm not gonna use them very often like other shoes.. but i still think it's perfect for beach walk so i'm gonna keep it hehe

14. Show your favorite pair of shoes.

- my Niluh Djelantik Sasha Ballet Flats in Black Suede! these flats are from real suede inside out. they're really soft and comfy. too bad these babies are not cheap, they are about US$100 per pair. i swear if Niluh Djelantik throw a sale on these type of shoes again, i'll buy some more..

a few weeks ago i was strolling randomly at youtube and find this very beautiful girl named Blair Fowler. once i found her channel (and her vlog channel) i can't stop watching her videos. she talks really fast and sometimes rambles on her videos and i find it funny! like an hour ago she just did a christmas themed tag video and i think it's really interesting. since i don't do vlogs, so i decided to do the tag here. :D

umm, actually i don't celebrate christmas, but i loooove the feel that christmas brings every year. well whatever. i think i watched Blair's video too much, i start to ramble random things haha..

i don't have one. haha. seriously, i'm not a big fan of movie so i don't really have favourites.

i swear i don't have one! hahaha. as far as i can remember i never have the "proper" photo shoot on christmas card.

nope. i live in Indonesia and it's sunny all year long.

5. Where do you usually spend your holiday?

it's home most of the time.

6. Play or Sing your favorite Christmas Song!

i like almost all of christmas song! like santa claus is coming to town, Mary's boy child, the first noel, joy to the world, etc. but i think for this year, my most favourite one is santa claus is coming to town.

7. Do you open any presents on Christmas Eve?

since my family don't celebrate christmas, i don't get presents for christmas.

8. Can you name all of Santa's reindeer?

oh well.. dancer (or dasher? or they're both different reindeer? i really have no idea), vixen, rudolph, prancer.. i once tried to remember santa's reindeer but i never really tried, hahaha.

9. What holiday tradition are you looking forward to most this year?

i don't really have traditions for christmas..

10. Is your Christmas tree real or fake?

fake. it's really hard to find real christmas tree here in my country. but even if it's easy, i think i'll stick to the fake one because the real one will need to be thrown away after a couple of days..

11. Hands down, what's your all-time favorite holiday food and holiday sweet treat?

well i don't have special holiday food.. but i like chocolates esp Cadbury for lazy days

12. Be Honest: do you like giving gifts or receiving gifts better?

receiving gifts all the waaaay!

i don't have particular attire for christmas.. hehe.. actually i want a santa costume i think it would be a waste if i spend money on something i won't really wear. but i also want a santa hat or reindeer headband, maybe i'll buy it later :D

14. What would be your dream place to visit for the holiday season?

umm, never really think about it.. France maybe. or Japan.

15. Does your family have a special holiday recipe you like to help make?

as i said before i don't really celebrate christmas so there's no special recipes.

16. Are you a pro-present wrapper, or do you fail miserably?

i'm a pro wrapper, baby! not a pro that i can make flower from ribbons or something like that. but i can wrap things neatly.

17. Most memorable Holiday moment?

hmm.. my christmas in china maybe. i forgot that the day was christmas day! hahaha. you don't feel any christmas spirit in china you know. there are decorations, of course. but the christmas day itself is just the same with few days before.

18. What made you realize the truth about Santa?

the internet. lol

19. Do you make New Years Resolutions? Do you stick to them?

i never really make resolutions. even if i make resolutions, i'm going to forget them approximately 4 days after i make it. hahaha.

hey christmas is right around the corner! oh my gosh. will try to take photos in front of my christmas tree hehe.. these photos are taken a while ago, when i didn't need to use my glasses. yeah, since a week ago i need to leave my contacts and use glasses instead because next week i'll need to check my eyes and do LASIK (please click on the word if you don't know what's lasik). hopefully the little surgery will run smoothly so i don't need to use glasses or contacts again. :D

i found this video when i'm looking for scarf ideas on youtube, i just knew that you can remove sticky residue from your shoes using peanut butter! it's amazing, i think. only recommended for polished sole, though. after i watched the video i googled about that and tadaaaa, you can use anything greasy, not only peanut butter. you can use ordinary butter (which i don't recommend since it's quiet pricey), margarine, eucalyptus oil, or even the usual cooking oil. i think this is interesting, haha. i love finding new easy and applicable tips and tricks. :D

Being Lazy

nope, i'm not dead. haha. i'm just too lazy and feel like there's nothing to share so i don't write anything here. hehe.. i can't sleep now and i was blog-walking so i think i'm gonna write something here. :)

just little updates about current life. actually i'm in my uni holiday, a two-months holiday. but i'm doing my internship (i need to do an internship to graduate from uni). and because i'm doing it now (it's been one and a half month, 2 more weeks to go!), it means that next semester will be (hopefully) my last semester in undergraduate program. the only thing that i'm really afraid of is the thesis. sigh. i don't understand why undergraduate program in Indonesia requires thesis. i have no idea what my thesis will be, i even don't have any idea about the topic. haaaaaah. well let's just hope for the best. :p

oh by the way, i just made a food blog a few weeks ago. i don't write much about the food but i hope it helps. :D please click HERE to visit (of course i don't insist you to click, just click if you want to) oh i almost forgot, it's written in english and indonesian. just some random ramblings actually. hehe.

@glister_blister's tweet (RT-ed from @beckyregina) makes me think a bit. when we dress down, i cannot deny that i'll feel inferior or too common and not comfortable with this too-common-feeling (i don't know about others but i feel this way). when we dress up, there's ALWAYS some people who keep looking at us from top to bottom and up again like we're using something weird or not proper. but hey, be positive, maybe they keep looking at us because we're giving them inspiration or maybe they just envy us (over-confident detected. :p)

well, i think that it's really depends on us after all! if you wanna dress up, then do! i mean you can't make all people happy, isn't it? it's their right to keep looking at us, but it is our right too, to ignore them. in my opinion, it's better to be over-dressed than under-dressed. but in my case, there are times that i don't feel like i wanna dress up but i don't wanna look ordinary. you know, i'm a super lazy girl soooo i take things that i've used before. yeah, i can use the same outfit (with exactly same pieces) over and over again. hahaha.

and i think the conclusion of my ramblings are just wear what you want to, what makes you feel comfortable, life is the runway, right? don't need to over think what people will say. but of course do not forget the occasion. :)

well yeah so this post is just to make sure that my blog is alive. haha.. no photos attached on this post because i'm too lazy to take pics, haha.

yesterday i went to Fashion Blogger Yard Sale on Mazee, fX. the bazaar was packed! i got skinny scarf from Michelle's Charlotte's Closet that i've been eye-ing since she uploaded the photo on facebook and Only I's black blazer with heart-shaped hole on the back. by the way, Michelle looks prettier in real life and Cindy from DIAMONDHURTS looks really stylish! the other blogger are fab too. super love! :D

then i went to Plaza Indonesia to eat Sushi Tei. my friends are sushi freak, haha. me? not really. i'm too greedy, i like all kind of food and i can't decide which food is my fave. :p

i bought Venus Maxi Dress from Cotton Ink at The Goods Dept too. actually i wanna go there on friday but too bad i was still have a final exam. they have 20% discount for BNI Credit Card holder on friday! :( but yeah, it's still okay. the maxi dress is really cool! it makes me look slimmer, hehe.. and somehow it's hard for me to find the perfect maxi dress because usually they're too short for me. but Cotton Ink's maxi got the perfect length!

it's been a while since the last time i bought stuffs on the spot, i do online shopping these past days. the feel is different! i don't know about you all but i feel happier shopping on the spot. haha..

i went there with Inez, Agus, Octa, and Vani (my not-so-lil sis). it's been a while since last time i hang out with the team, it's fun!

are you planning to but this kind of necklace?

if you have unused t-shirt, you can make this by yourself! the bigger the tee, the longer necklace you'll have. all you need is a t-shirt (seamless will be very good, but ordinary one is no problem) and a scissor.

cut the tee 1/2 or 1 inch horizontally, make a loop! you'll have strips like this:

and now pull them gently, the edges will roll by itself. and then you'll have this:

after that, take one strip, use it to tie all others so they won't separate. tadaaa.. finished! you have a new necklace! :D

my mid-term exam is oveeeeeer! yeeeeeeaaaaaaaahhh! so happy! i spent this last two days with sleeping and trying to clean up my room and more sleep. ha! the feeling of freedom. :P
so, some updates!

- i'm a Foursquare badge hunter now! not ambitious one, but i check-in everywhere to get badges. haha..

- for one of my pre-mid-term exam assignment, i was asked to make an othello! yes, that black and white token on a green board game! it's kinda amazing, haha.. i can't make it alone, so thanks to mr. @rufvin who taught me patiently. :p

- and thanks to @lovlavluv, @riankaa, @egynat, @shesukakuh, and @evadorable for the teamwork along the exam! haha

gosh, i'm on mid-term test! no more silent week for mid-term test from this semester. but unlike the past semesters, this time the test will be held for 2 weeks, so yes, i have some day breaks..

this is my 5th semester and i feel sooo bored! i play and chit-chats A LOT in class, i don't listen to what the lecturer says so i don't really understand most of my subjects. haha! more tasks and i don't know why they feel much harder than tasks i ever have before. well, let's just hope for the best. :p

i'm sure all of you know what Brightspot Market is. for me, it's like coachella festival but this one isn't music festival, it's more fashion and lifestyle oriented. so i went there with my sister, manda, and inez on friday. traffic jam everywhere!

there are lots of great brands there! but i don't really like to shop if the place is too crowded, and yes, the market is sooo crowded, a fashionable crowd i must say. i only bought cotton ink's mini boxy with collar there.
actually i planned to buy things from nikicio's booth but there were so many people there, so i don't buy anything. hehe.. i'm going to buy her collections trough the webstore soon.. :)
and oh, nikicio have super cute dress made from paper. yes paper! how cool is she, eh? i love this "re-fashion" dress but i really have no idea how i'll use this. so i have to erase my passion to buy it. hehe..

i've passed the final exam! hoooray! i can't do the last one nicely actually.. it's Operating System subject. fortunately i got A on my mid-term test, so it won't be too bad after all. but it means my target can't be achieved. my target was a perfect 4 GPA, hehe.. but it's okay. i think it won't be too far from there. :)

well, its been a (bit) long time since my last post.. hehe.. you know, i'm a super lazy girl.. my new laptop (yes, my dad buy me a new one because the old one's still love to stuck over and over again) cannot connect to the internet. i've called telkom's customer service and he helped my step by step to make it connect but it didn't work. :( i think i need to ask the technician to come to my house. i'm writing this post using my-lots-of-virus-desktop. haha..

*i'm going to have my final exam for this semester less than a week! yes, i'm in the silent week (again). the worst part is, i feel super lazy to study. it's already tuesday and i even haven't download any slides. i hope Mr Yohanes Surya's mestakung (stands for "semesta mendukung", google it if you don't know about this, hehe..) really happen to me. haha.. Yohanes Surya is my rector, by the way. :)

do you like how vintage paper looks? you can make your paper/document looks old now! this is a very simple DIY that anyone can do. :)

what you need:

1. paper (i use this vintage printed image. you can google it)

2. a cup of coffee

how to:

1. put your paper in a tray or plate or simply lay it on the floor

2. pour the coffee on the paper. don't let the paper swim in the coffee for too long, it'll get weak and easy to break

3. get your wet paper quickly, put it somewhere flat and dry

4. wait until dry

5. tataraa.. your vintage paper is done! :)

yesterday i watched Alice in Wonderland and Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus. i don't go to cinemas a lot these days, so i watched 2 movies in a row. haha..

i don't really understand imaginarium of dr parnassus' story, only one thing i can catch from the movie, never bet with the devil. but i love behind the mirror experiences.

and alice, umm.. i like the graphics, the quirky white queen, red queen's castle, alice's dresses, the mad hatter, but the story.. i think it's not really interesting. i thought it would be more thrilling or what, but the reality it's not. i'm kinda disappointed.
